Japanese name is "flower dropped and grown".

Origin of place:South America via China to Japan in 1706.

Receintly boiled peanut is favorite for relish.

I sowed the kitchen garden with seeds of Okura last May.
They put forth buds, but have not grow up greatly.
A few flowers bloomed and truths will grow or not ?

It is said to deter some common insect pests , as well as nematodes.
And it is used well for the framing of the flower garden, since it's long flowering season.
